The ex bandmate's second single was released on Friday and it's a decent follow up to Strip that Down.

It's clear Liam is going for songs that could do well on the charts. In other words, relatively generic catchy pop. Although I wasn't a massive fan of Strip that Down it did receive moderate success on the charts. Bedroom floor will probably not be any different. It has an infectious beat and it's insanely easy to sing along to. However, that could be the biggest downfall of the song. it's too repetitive, the chorus consists of Liam repeating the same line over and over again.

The song shows a slightly different tone to Payne's voice as he reaches for a higher range which is quite pleasant to listen to. The verses are good but the prechorus also repeats random words almost as though they couldn't think of other lyrics to fill the sentence. Bedroom floor has really good production. The beat is interesting and somewhat different to other songs we have been hearing on the radio.

While this song isn't bad by any means the lyrics is it's biggest let down. I do think it will be fun to jam to when it's on the radio but all the repetition does run the risk of becoming extremely annoying.

All in all I would say it was a good effort.
